  1. Individuals are: Michael Petering 74 (won playoff for medalist with a chip in birdie on the first playoff hole) Zach Wright 74 Russel Rigg 80 (beat Mitch Fair of Highlands on the first hole of a playoff with a par)
  2. The home course advantage is a huge factor. That course is not like anything in the NKY area. I played last year and I was no where near prepared for a course like that after I had been playing all year on the burnt surfaces all around NKY. Not only because of the course conditions but because not being comfortable on every tee because its only the second time I had even seen the hole before. True, if your playing well it doesn't really matter all that much, but bring a player at the top of his game to a course he knows then take him to a course hes unfamiliar with the next day and I'll bet you anything that score inflates.
  3. I think Ryle is clearly the best team around, unless everyone on your team brings their A game your just not going to beat them. But here are some of the others, 1. Ryle 2. Cov Cath 3. Beechwood 4. Holy Cross 5. Campbell 6. Scott
  4. Is he a freshman this year or will he be one next season??
  5. Tiger did plenty of both thats why he's so great. The driving range makes you a ball striker, the course make you a player. Yes, you have to know how far you hit each club and all, but then when you have an off day you have to know how to manage your game and put up the best number you can.
  6. On course expierience without a doubt. You can learn more things from playing a round of golf that you could never learn on a mat at the range.
  7. That game was the basketball teams regional game, so I don't blame him for supporting his school. I'd like to hear what problems people have with the team? Did the right people not make it? Because there was no argument about that around the school, so I don't know what that would have to do with anything.
  8. They have 3 great players returning. Also Ricardo Johnson can put that team on his back. He'll be the most heavily recruited player in the state his senior year, that's a fact.
  9. Actually since the regions changed covcath is in the 7th now. Which basically consists of all of last years 8th region teams.
  10. It's just like a Kentucky fans to blame a loss on one call. If they played better on offense and defense or made more free throws then it wouldn'thave come down to that.
  11. I agree with eveything you have said. If it didn't say K-E-N-T-U-C-K-Y on their uni's they'd be out in a heart beat, epecially with no Patterson. I hate that a team can get in because of their name and get ousted quickly instead of putting a deserving team in that might win a couple. They only have 2 good wins. One to Vandy which I believe they made up for in the re-match. And to Tennessee who also came back and beat them. I really don't think anyone would be afraid of UK in any round of the tournament considering the fact that if they do get in, they'll be like a 12 seed and will be playing a team that is much much better than they are. Also I don't think that the SEC is even top 5 anymore, there are 2 good teams and thats it. The Bearcats I believe have 8 Big East wins and I think that in itself is much more impressive than 12 in the SEC. Especially considering what they have to work with on that team.
  12. I'm pretty sure Ben Schneider graduated. And no more Heineke's after Nick and Brandon unless they have a little brother I don't know about.
  13. Wow thats rough. Sound like fun to be hitting driver 3 iron into par 4's.
  14. Yeah......wish I could comment. This one is a little different from that 86 to 83 loss earlier in the season.
  15. Is that the course thats like 8000 yards or something?
  16. 1-TPC Badlands (Las Vegas, NV) 2-The Habitat (Barefoot Bay FL) 3- Stone Lick Hills 4-Triple Crown CC 5-Adubon CC
  17. :lol:If for some reason the starters play all 32 it would be getting close to that. Didn't Augusta beat Deming? And we all know what Mason did to them....
  18. I expect the main offensive and defensive weapons of each team to play well. It really comes down to those secondary options. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ben Franzen brings so much more to this team than anyone can realize. He can score just as well as Albrecht and Nerl, he never hesitates to shoot and he's always hustling, he is a good defender and causes alot of match up problems with teams due to his size. If he has a good game I'll take the Camels but it won't be an easy one. I expect it to be a hard fought game decided by 8 or less.
