There was a kid at North Hardin a couple years ago named Jamarious Sykes who was listed at 7'1 as a soph. He moved to GA but had supposedly moved back. I'm not sure though.

Hopkins County Central will have two players 6'9". Senior to be Chuck Jones and Junior to be Daniel Croft. Jones will be playing with with Ind. Swish and Croft will be playing with Nashville Celtics this summer.

Shelby Valley has a player in their feeder system at Dorton that is likely to be a 7 footer. He is in the 6th grade and is about 6'6". He has a brother that is 6'11".

Holmes also has a 6'6 freshman (Keyvon Arnold) whose dad is 6'9 and Elijah Pittman's (6'5 now) dad is 6'8. The future definetly looks bright down there in Covington over the next couple years.

Not sure of his name. I was just told this about his father when I asked about Keyvon.

If Mike is his father he's only about 6'3".

 

 

I got to know Keyvon a little last summer, a very good kid who loves basketball. He has all the skills a D-1 player needs. He is more like 6'4" can shoot, plays hard on Defense (until he gets tired), passes well, and works hard for the most part.

 

I believe he was invited to the Cincinnati Bearcats Elite Camp last year. At times he can get lost and go unnoticed. He's a a decent ballhandler and can play the PG or SG. His biggest problem seems to be consistancy.

Yes, he played at Jenkins. Also, he was on the team briefly at Morehead and Alice Lloyd. His brother is much further along at this age than he was...
