Maroons now 20-3 on the season. Sophomore, Kody Johnson had 35 for PC.

That's a huge win for Pulaski. Not many teams go in there and beat Wayne. These 2 look like the best in the 12 region. Tournament time is going to be fun.

As of 3pm, the Pulaski vs Lincoln game at Pulaski is still ON. JV at 6pm, Varsity at 7:30pm.

I'm sure there will be some debate on kids being left off but overall it looks good. Congratulations to the players who made it.

Zack Eastham and Alex Abner from Pulaski County are each on this year's team.

When does it become the losing teams job to get starters out of the game? 99.9% of the time the team winning pulls starters and losing team leaves starters in. By then tempers are up because of the beat down and it becomes an opportunity for the starters to take it out on the babies. Maybe the coach on the winning side should call a timeout and mass-sub like they do in basketball. That lets the other team know they are calling off the dogs. If the losing team doesn't reciprocate, then bring you #1s back in. It has to work on both sides.

I'm sick to death of hearing "Ohio does it this way... Ohio does it that way..." It's OHIO, NOT KENTUCKY!!!!!!!!!!! Who cares what they do in Ohio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pulaski put together a complete game tonight. Clay was just the wrong team at the wrong place. Pulaski's defense was dominating in this one. Logan Joseph had a fantastic game, coming back from that severe car wreck last week. Dylan Beshears, Tyler Abney, and Justin Cornett just simply wore out the much larger Clay County offensive line. Alex Abner had 6 total touchdowns for the Maroons! Just an all-around great game by Pulaski County!

Looks like this game has just taken a new twist. Alex Abner has been in the hospital all week and just had surgery yesterday for an infection in his elbow. Logan Joseph was in a car accident last night and it seems he will be out tomorrow as well. That is 2 major hits taken by Pulaski. Let's hope these young men get better very soon.

Pulaski big! Robinson is a straight up ANIMAL on defense for Perry! The problem is, he can't cover and tackle everybody. Pulaski has too many weapons for Perry to stop all of them. Pulaski's defense is much better than they are being given credit for. Especially the pass defense. If the Commodores try to pick on McQueen downfield...BIG MISTAKE. I just think Pulaski will shut down Perry and move on. PC 42-24

What did Abner do that he should not have played tonight?

Does anybody have an update on the Anderson/Oldham game

Abner spent most of the first half in the Pulaski County locker room with Dr Pace, getting his shoulder looked at. After getting a shot he returned for the second half. What did he do that he shouldn't play?

It's the nagging shoulder injury he has had all year. He separated the shoulder against Boyle in the scrimmage and it just hasn't had time to heal.

If Abner plays, PC by a whole lot. If Abner doesn't play, PC by still a lot, just not as much. PC big. 42-14.

Pulaski by as much as they want. Way too much for the Cardinals. With all the distractions of Senior Night, I look for the Maroons to start slow before turning it on in the 2nd qtr. PC closes out the regular season home schedule with another huge win 56-7.

My bad on the Corndog- I actually read it wrong. I looked back at your first post and thought that is what it said. There was nothing mean or rude meant by that. I like Coach Settles, and I hope the best for him (except against PC). But in complete honesty, PC does not play any Jrs or varsity players on JV. If they play on friday, they don't play on Monday (with the exception of non-starting freshmen and sophomores), much to the chargin of the JV coaches, I might add. That is Coach Hines' philosophy.

Easy Corndog.... I was wasn't wrong in my asssessment of the JV game, was I? And the last comment made ( on this varsity thread, mind you) was that you thought Lincoln was back on track. I show you a differing view. But you will get a chance to see PC'S JV team again - On Friday Night!... Sorry, that was a bad joke but it was meant in fun, really.

How many Jrs does Lincoln play on JV? I heard they had 3 or 4 key players who were jrs (QB was definitely one I heard). Pulaski does not play jrs on JV. Which is ok, because they expect it. But the score was 20- 12 and PC had the ball driving at the end of the game. I also heard they had 2 score brought back for penalties. I am also remined that in 2007 PC smacked Lincoln's JV in the mouth, but that wasn't the case on Friday that year. In essence, JV means nothing on Friday night - this year!

Pulaski BIG! Homecoming tonight at PC. Should be another huge crowd at Maroon Field. The Maroons must stay focused though. Close early and PC will pull away in 2nd half. 48-12 PC.
