Lincoln's JV beat Pulaski's JV last night. I think Lincoln is back on track!

How many Jrs does Lincoln play on JV? I heard they had 3 or 4 key players who were jrs (QB was definitely one I heard). Pulaski does not play jrs on JV. Which is ok, because they expect it. But the score was 20- 12 and PC had the ball driving at the end of the game. I also heard they had 2 score brought back for penalties.

I am also remined that in 2007 PC smacked Lincoln's JV in the mouth, but that wasn't the case on Friday that year.

In essence, JV means nothing on Friday night - this year!

Pulaski rolls if they come out ready to play.

PC 42

LC 20

PC rolls, too much Off. for Linclon Co.

Lincoln plays 3 jrs. in JV and you heard correctly the QB is one of them, but the QB can't win a game by himself. One of the Jrs is playing his first year in football, so call it what you want. I don't think my comment said anything about Friday Night...did it? PC has a great varstiy team, but the JV team is what you will have as varsity in the next cpl years...correct? So in essence, all I'm saying is...Lincoln may mean business on Friday night...next year!!

Lincoln isn't quite ready for this yet. Pulaski is too strong.

Easy Corndog.... I was wasn't wrong in my asssessment of the JV game, was I? And the last comment made ( on this varsity thread, mind you) was that you thought Lincoln was back on track. I show you a differing view. But you will get a chance to see PC'S JV team again - On Friday Night!... Sorry, that was a bad joke but it was meant in fun, really.

"Corndog" ...that's funny! Anyway, I don't quite follow your last comment, but I do think Lincoln is back on track. Lincoln has fought back from a couple tough years, but that isn't to say that we will beat Pulaski. I know what they're ranked. All I'm saying is that Lincoln is competing this year. And I guess you'll see some of Lincoln's JV team again on Friday night. We all know that most schools play some of their varsity on their JV team. JV teams can be made up of all grade levels other than Srs. and there are some Fresh who play varsity and sometimes they will also play a little JV. If I have to be for any team other than Lincoln it would always be Pulaski, it's my old stomping ground. Just trying to give credit where credit is due.

My bad on the Corndog- I actually read it wrong. I looked back at your first post and thought that is what it said. There was nothing mean or rude meant by that. I like Coach Settles, and I hope the best for him (except against PC). But in complete honesty, PC does not play any Jrs or varsity players on JV. If they play on friday, they don't play on Monday (with the exception of non-starting freshmen and sophomores), much to the chargin of the JV coaches, I might add. That is Coach Hines' philosophy.

Pulaski starts 7 freshman on the jv team. Had they played the sophomores that get playing time on friday nights the game would have had a little different flavor to it. I know Lincoln beat boyle in jv, but there is no way that it was the same two teams Pulaski played in jv.

Gentlemen, this will get ugly fast.

Pulaski Co. 52

Lincoln Co. 14

Actually, it was the same team. I don't understand why everyone seems to think that 3 Jrs can win a ballgame by themselves. One I will say again is playing his first year, although he is a very talented young man. The rest of the JV team is Fr. & Soph some of which are evidently pretty talented themselves. As I said before, I'm just giving credit where credit is due, as well as stating facts. Btw, what part of the team do you think was different?

Does anyone know the score of the Freshmen game between these 2 teams tonight?
