5A #6 Pulaski County takes on Mercer County. Who wins this one and why?

If Abner plays, PC by a whole lot. If Abner doesn't play, PC by still a lot, just not as much. PC big. 42-14.

What's wrong with Alex?

Pulaski takes care of business but I don't look for them to show any more than they have to, to win this game.

PC 42-14

It's the nagging shoulder injury he has had all year. He separated the shoulder against Boyle in the scrimmage and it just hasn't had time to heal.

Don't see this being much of a game. Seems that Mercer is going into the tank after the big loss to Lincoln last week.

48-0. Mercer has checked out for the rest of the year.

I agree, Mercer is not in a good place right now and will get beat w/ Pulaski naming the score in this one.

Question, since Mercer defeated SL and SL is winless in the district, is Mercer guarenteed a playoff spot or does anyone else play SL, jw Thanks

Pulaski's too much for Mercer.

If Lincoln beats SL, Mercer is a 4 seed. Otherwise I think they are a 3.

But since Mercer beat SL and lost to Lincoln and will likely end 1-3 in the district, but if SL beats LC who beat Mercer then they will also be 1-3. LC beat MC but MC beat SL, and if SL beats LC who beat MC, then who takes the 3&4 spots with a 3 way tie?? It's confusing haha, what do they use? the classic coin flip? lol

Rule 13

A three-way tie is decided by a system that awards one point for each win by teams you have beaten (except for the three times involved in the tie). Without doing the math, it's fair to say South Laurel has virtually no shot in a tiebreaker because it hasn't beaten anybody, although it would have one more chance to pick up some points next week vs. Middlesboro.

so still basically a must win game for mercer to be Guarenteed a spot correct?

Abner shouldn't play this week anyways for what he tried to do against Southwestern!!! Why did Abner only play half of the game and spent the other half in the locker room against Southwestern? If PC was smart they wouldn't play Abner this week and save them for the playoffs, but I don't think PC is that smart to do that.

I agree with you PD when LC beat them last week it seems as if it is going to be over for Mecer. PC wins this one 42-7.
