I cannot believe no one has mentioned Rob Lewis, the center from Southwestern. He changes the game for the Warriors, and was named one of the top 30 players in Kentucky by the Courier-Journal. Teams game plan for him more than anybody. He is one of the top 10 players in the region!

Bowling Green v.s. Highlands in the finals with Highlands winning a close game!

I went down to watch the Whitley/Rock game and was very impressed by Whitely. I think this game is going to be a lower scoring game than everyone is expecting. I think this game is going to be a smash mouth football game. This game will be decided on who controls the line of scrimmage. I do not think Whitley has the man power on the o-line to control Lewis #52 and Fowler #42. I look for a hard hitting defensive football game and will give the edge to Southwestern. SW- 21 WC- 17

Abner shouldn't play this week anyways for what he tried to do against Southwestern!!! Why did Abner only play half of the game and spent the other half in the locker room against Southwestern? If PC was smart they wouldn't play Abner this week and save them for the playoffs, but I don't think PC is that smart to do that.

Wayne Co. gave Southwestern all they wanted in a scrimmage game game. If it wasn't for mistakes and lack of consitency on offense, Wayne Co. might have beat the Warriors. I am sure Wayne Co.'s coaching staff has fixed those problems and will have their boys ready to play friday night. I take Wayne Co. in a blowout. WC - 42 MC- 7

I heard Southwestern may come out with a new look on offense

East is 2 - 0 coming off a big win over Garrard Co., while Southwestern has dropped its first two games. How you think this one will turn out? This is the first game of the Don Marshall Bowl at Pulaski Co. High School, game starts at 6:00

The game lies in the hands of the offense, they cannot have another outing like they did against Bowling Green. That game could have been worse that what it was because of the situations Southwestern put themselves in. Southwestern has had two terrible offense games in a row (one scriammage against Wayne Co.) I see the offensive woes continuing, and it kills me to say this but I see Somerset with the edge. SHS - 35 SW - 12

Any updates on this game yet?

I was talking with my dad and brother about them (both of who are part of the team), the first thing they said was speed. So if Southwestern can contain Bowling Green's speed it will be close but Southwestern doesn't have much depth at all and that will hurt them. It also depends on how Zach Turpin and the offense plays also, they need to control the clock and no commit turnovers. If Southwestern commits turnovers then it will be a route. I gotta give the edge to Bowling Green though, I hate to do it but I just see Southwestern's depth problem hurting them in this match up. BG - 35 SW - 21

My grandpa also won a state title in Ohio and also has the 3rd best winning percentage in Ohio. Rob is about 6'4 right now and has lost 20 pounds during basketball and looks like he is getting taller again.

Yes the district is in the Wigwam this year. I have talked to few of the players and they are ready for the district. McCreary has taken the post away from Southwestern the last time they played, they used Watts, Williams and their point guard to take Lewis away and forced Southwestern to beat them from the outside which they didnt so McCreary did do something about it but it was also Southwesterns fault. I wanna thank you real fan for your praise. I really appreciate it!

They have played a complete game all season and in those games they have beat their oppenent badly they just have yet to play that way against McCreary. They will find a way to do that here soon.

what i am sayin is that Southwestern has the players to stay with McCreary, but McCreary pulled away in the second half of both games. If Southwestern can find a way to play with McCreary for a whole game then its gonna be on heck of a game. That night at McCreary Southwestern was down by 16 starting the 4th quarter and got down to 7 before they made a few mistakes that McCreary hit a few threes in a row down the stretch of the game. Southwestern has the capablity of beating McCreary they just gotta find a way to play a full game and believe in themselves.
