  1. Probably not. They're only open for like one hour anyways. (The one here opens at 10 and stops serving breakfast at 11...kind of pointless) Didn't Wendy's have a failed attempt at breakfast too? I'm already so pressed for time in the mornings, if I CAN fit breakfast in there, it's barely enough time to drive thru and get a McGriddle. No way would I be able to waltz in and spend the 5-10 minutes for Subway to make it and that's if no one else is in line. This will be a failed experiment I'm afraid.
  2. Roseanne - I've seen every show several times, but it never gets old. Most of my favorite reruns are old game shows. I can watch almost any game shows rerun on GSN except for the $25,000/100,000 Pyramid. That one is so boring. Match Game Match Game PM Card Sharks Family Feud
  3. I have a similar quirk with my dog and dirty laundry. He usually goes for the dirty laundry, but any clothes at all intrigue him really. Like you, he doesn't chew them, but he likes to misplace them and lay on them/lick them. It's gross. He will also lick his front paws for about 5-10 minutes before he goes to sleep. Similar to the laundry. He has a thing for rearranging shoes. Anytime I take a shower, inevitably, when I get out of the shower, I will find my shoes thrown around the living room. Most often, when I open the door to the bathroom, I will find my flip flops in front of the bathroom door. It's kind of strange. He doesn't chew on them, he just moves them as if he's trying to say, "Hey, you'll need these when you get out of the shower."
  4. Seeing how almost every make/model has had a recall at some point, yes, I would buy one. I work with several Toyotas in our fleet and we have never had a problem out of any of them. FWIW, I don't know if it's hit the news yet, but the Chevy Cobalt just had a major recall as well. 1.3 million cars have a problem that could cause the power steering to fail.
  5. History Channel by far.
  6. Went there today and heard the owner correct a patron who had never eaten there before. The guy said, "I'll have a "jai-ro" and fries. The owner/cook replied "ok, you want a 'year-oh' and fries?" It's called Babylon and it's located on Main Street in downtown Richmond, just before you get to the courthouse. Not sure when they open in the mornings, but they're open until usually 10 PM every night. They also serve falafel and baba ghanoush among other things. Went there today and didn't specify that I wanted the lamb, so I got a beef gyro instead, didn't realize it until I got home. Still good, but the lamb is outta this world.
  7. How do you pronounce it? We have a new Gyro shop in Richmond and it's become a popular lunch stop for the people in our office. However, while most agree it's tasty stuff, we can't agree on how to pronounce it. Some pronounce in "jai-ro" as in Gyroscope. This is the way I've always heard it pronounced at festivals such as Pikeville's Hillbilly Days. Others, pronounce "year-oh" - which is the way I've pronounced it since being corrected by a Greek man in D.C. when I was 14. And some say that it's pronounced "your-oh" as in Euro.
  8. Wait...I thought the groom bought the groomsmen the gifts, not the best man???? BTW, I have a pretty cool idea for groomsmen gifts that I'm going to be doing for my wedding in November but I'm not sharing it on here, as my best man is on this site. PM me if you'd like to know. BTW, it's better than the standard-issue flask, IMO.
  9. Agreed. This is why it exists and is allowed. In regards to those saying Olympic hockey is better. It's probably better to you because there is something on the line with Olympic hockey. You're playing for a medal and your country, not just another win-loss. Night in and night out in the NHL, you're not necessarily playing for something as motivating as an Olympic medal might be. Why is NHL hockey so much better in the playoffs? Because something is one the line.

  12. Coffee - black...maybe a little sugar occasionally. Tea - iced and sweetened to the point it nearly causes instant cavities.
  13. DirecTV here in Richmond is saying they'll be showing the UK game. BTW, you can watch all of the games for free on NCAA.com
  14. If I recall correctly, we were specially selected....:ohbrother: I know other people who have received them as well.
  15. It was something from the Department of Commerce that asked a TON of questions, said it was in regards to the census. Asked things like household income, whether I rented or not, approx. date when my rental unit was built, how long I had lived there, race, profession, etc. I've never filled out a census before, so I just assumed that was it. Oh, and just got done with my census....if there's only 12 spots....how do the Duggar's fill out their census form? :sssh:
  16. Ok, if this is the census, then what the heck was that thing we got in the mail back in January? Said it was part of the census too.
  17. Have you tried turning them off and back on? I have an AT&T phone and I had to turn my phone off for about 10 seconds, then turn it back on. Once I did, the time finally updated.
  18. I know that it was roughly $500 to have a key replaced for a Dodge Caravan.
  19. Great song but I'm not sure if it classifies as a cover. Bob Dylan originally wrote the chorus but left the song unfinished. OCMS wrote the verses around that original chorus to complete the song. To throw in my 2 cents. I'll agree that Buckley's "Hallelujah" is the best cover song. All other versions of "Hallelujah" that I have heard come nowhere near to the passion that is in Buckley's.
  20. That's how the Altimas we have work. The key must be inside the car and your foot on the brakes.
  21. They are usually anywhere from $250 to $500 to have replaced too.
