  1. Frankfort 21 Gallatin County 0 with about 3 minutes until halftime. Weaver Scored from 25 yards out.
  2. FHS 14, Gallatin Co 0 with 11:22 to go in the 2nd qtr. They went for two and made it.
  3. FHS 6, Gallatin Co 0 at the end of the first quarter. Quan Weaver has close to 120 yards on 7 carries. He needs 265 yards to go over 2000 all-purpose yards for the year.
  4. Reading the thread about this game earlier this week made me wonder how this mighty defensive powerhouse could possibly have lost eight games. The NKy fans that posted were so sure that they would take Frankfort down. I'm glad the young men on the field determine who wins the game, and not us goobers online.
  5. Didn't hurt you near as much as it hurt that poor kid!
  6. Agreed; defense was terrific tonight. Keri didn't have a particularly good game tonight throwing the ball, overthrowing several receivers. I was surprised to see Quan take some snaps at quarterback tonight.
  7. He finished with 327 on 17 carries, plus completed a 33 yard TD pass (his second TD pass of the year).
  8. Frankfort 42 Dayton 6 (Frankfort has blocked several extra points this year)
  9. Quan was scary good tonight! He was able to get outside with regularity. Plus he had some big hits on defense. I can't wait to see the stats.
  10. Ask Western Hills about kick returns for TDs gy Frankfort. Weaver ran a kickoff back 80-something yards for a TD, Dwight Tillman ran a kickoff return back 80 something yards for a TD, Dwight Tillman ran a punt back 70-something yards for a TD, and Weaver almost ran a interception back for a TD (returned it 60 yards). Frankfort is definitely more than just Quan Weaver, but he is definitely an important component!
  11. Coach B, who is coming back on the o-line? Don't Michael and Will both graduate this year (er, spring of '09)? Don't we have most of the skill position players back except for Keri? Great win last night! I think that was one of the best high school football games I've ever attended (Almost as good as the County game, even though we lost that one in OT :irked: ).
  12. The last post I saw there said, "I can't wait to see a report of what went wrong." I didn't see a thing wrong!! Go, Panthers!
  13. Three passes from Keri Metcalf, two of them, including the winning TD, long passes to WR Dwight Tillman.
  14. Former Boyle County coach and current UK linebacker coach.
  15. Reply from Coach Buckett after the Frankfort-Western Hills game (see below) 10-18-2008, 08:49 PM #25 CoachBuckett All American Join Date: Sep 2003 Location: On the 50 yard line. 16. In most of those years, Frankfort had little or no passing offense. This year they have a legitmate passing game. Quan Weaver and Dwight Tillman are bonafide D-1 caliber players (and FAST!). I'm picking Frankfort 28-21.
  17. I would think that the college coaches/scouts would like to see him doing that. I hope he considers it. Frankfort High fans are looking forward to seeing him play at the next level.
  18. Frankfort's speed is the difference in this one. Eminence has had a great season, but they haven't seen kids as fast as Frankfort's. Frankfort 45-6. Coach B, has Quan ever thought about running track? He is scary fast on the field.
  19. Frankfort is 6-1, only losing to 4-A Franklin County is OT. Frankfort has been stronger than usual for the last several years. Coach Foley has a lot to do with that.
  20. They haven't played like that all season because they hadn't played Frankfort yet.
  21. Not Coach B, but he means Dylan Quinn, backup QB. He looked very poised for the most part. He has a good arm and wasn't afraid to use it tonight.
  22. Coach, What happened with Keri? Is he out for next week's game? Quin did a good job after being thrown in at QB.
