Belfry 111 Sheldon Clark 89

I defintley think it would be a contest I could be wrong though. I havent seen Paintsville play this year. Belfry and SC are both very talented teams though and it was a great game. Both teams were making everything they threw up guarded or not. They both will go a long ways in the Region I think. I still think the Region is wide open though as much as ever before. And both these teams are 2 of the top contenders.

This Belfry team will bring excitement back to the Belfry B-ball program for sure. They are so much fun to watch. Great passes, great teamwork, great coaching...the elements are all there. :dancingpa

How many times do you see a team score 89 and lose by 22.

Only on Sportscenter. :D

Sounds like a whale of a game....Congrats to Belfry. :thumb:

How is this horrible?? Finally we have some kids from eastern Kentucky starting to put the ball in the basket!!

I guess if you look at it like that, it doesn't seem too bad. But I was mainly talking about the lack of D.

There was defense, it's just both teams couldn't miss it seemed like.

Crum is very good...and going to be even better...but Matt Maynard was the best player in the gym last night...without question.[/quote

Maynard was the best player in KY last night with "The Cats" playing in Cincinnati, but night in night out BMay would be the best player on the floor. Crum is an outstanding young player and a terrific kid who will dominate this region in the next couple of years.

I agree also about May. Not to take ANYTHING from Maynard because the kid is a player. But to me, Brandon May is the real deal. He is one high school player that I would pay to see!

Until May plays like that EVERY NIGHT I would have to disagree...have seen him play MANY times and he has only been "the man" a couple of those times...he is VERY GOOD...but inconsistent with his focus and effort..

Give credit for Belfry basketball to Randy Casey. That man should have been at the helm years ago.

The Crum kid from Sheldon Clark is the most exciting player in the region. The boy can play and he is really fun to watch!!

If you think he is the most exciting player in the region, then you haven't seen Maynard. He is the best athlete no questions asked. Crum may be as quick as a cat, but he can't hold a candle to Maynard. Nobody from SC could stay in front of him all night. Crum is going to be a good one, but it is not his time............. yet.

He should have followed Raymond Justice as the head coach. But atleast he finaly did get his chance and he is proving everyone that he does belong as the head coach.
