They may be intelligent but I have to question their political expertise if they didn't qualify their predictions. VOR hit it. If the econcomy improves, he's in. If it doesn't, he's iffy. If it falls, he's out.

 

Oh, they definitely qualified their predictions. However, being as I am at work, I didn't have the time to post the whole conversation. And, also...being as I'm (as I've admitted quite often in the past) no economist, finacial genius, business genius, political expert, etc...I don't know if I could accurately recount the conversation. Plus, there were lots of big words being thrown out there.

It's after the election that I'd be worried about. If he wins that is when he will show his true nature and sell this country down the river to the muslim brotherhood. He will take away everyone's guns and round up all of this country's Christians into concentration camps. He will then implement shria law and give free abortions to any woman who wants one. I see the sarcasm BUT I do worry about what Obama does during a 2nd term. He's effectively a lame duck the day after election day. He no longer has to worry about being re-elected so I fear he takes a huge left turn with no more pretense at moderation. If the situation remains the same in congress I look for LOTS of executive orders and regulations from agencies and a whole plethora of czars. My biggest worry though is the potential impact he could have on the Supreme Court, particularly is Kennedy retires or if something happens to one of the conservatives.

Gulf War III has to start sometime before November. I believe we have 3 carriers in the gulf and Israel is ready to go. This is not desired by the admin but it seems a major war will hit at a bad time for them.

 

Gas prices will likely go up. The weakening dollar will pressure prices.

 

The official unemployment rate 'improves'. Lots of ways to manipulate it. But the less reported indicators struggle (unfortunately).

 

Major question marks:

 

- Does Holder survive F & F?

- Does the SCOTUS overrule Healthcare bill or parts of it?

- Does Biden remain on ticket or is he replaced by Hill?
