February 9, 201214 yr A few guys are already in AZ ready to go. Latos and Chapman are among those named. 10 more days till pitchers and catchers report.

Especially considering he is out of options.
February 9, 201214 yr Pitchers: Homer Bailey Mat Latos Johnny Cueto Bronson Arroyo Mike Leake Aroldis Chapman Nick Masset Ryan Madsen Sean Marshall Sam LeCure Bill Bray Jose Arrendondo Logan Ondrusek Pretty much a set roster (one of those pitchers will start in Louisville).
February 9, 201214 yr Since at best you are only going to get 100 games out of Rolen I think Francisco is pretty much a lock as well. Especially considering he is out of options. I agree. I'll be shocked if Francisco and Valdez aren't the two coming Northeast.
February 9, 201214 yr My biggest concern right now is to see if Drew Stubbs can figure out how to not strike out 200 plus times.
February 9, 201214 yr Author Since at best you are only going to get 100 games out of Rolen I think Francisco is pretty much a lock as well. Especially considering he is out of options. I'd say Valdez also has a head start considering they traded for him. Really not much to debate this year. Only a couple spots up for grabs and even those aren't that wide open.
February 9, 201214 yr My biggest concern right now is to see if Drew Stubbs can figure out how to not strike out 200 plus times. All he has to do to accomplish that is learn how to bunt.
February 9, 201214 yr All he has to do to accomplish that is learn how to bunt. Apparently that is easier said than done these days. Bunting seems to be a lost art.
February 10, 201214 yr ^ With his speed, you just need to put it down. Doesn't even have to be perfect. It's not that hard.
February 10, 201214 yr Bunting would be the key for Stubbs absolutely. He would cause some havoc. I just finished setting up my fantasy baseball leagues that I am running and printing out my Reds schedule to hang in my room.
February 10, 201214 yr Author Tom Groeschen @TomGroeschen #Reds say player sightings at their Player Development Complex include Leake, Valaika, LeCure, Latos, Ondrusek, Reineke, Cozart, Chapman
February 10, 201214 yr The roster is basically set. My top 5 questions are: 1.) Who hits 2nd? I've narrowed it down to Ludwick & Cozart. I give the nod to Ludwick. 2.) Where does Chapman begin the season? I hope he starts in the rotation. 3.) What do you do with Rolen? Can he stay healthy & produce? The odds say no. Hopefully Francisco can fill in. 4.) Will Arroyo bounce back after a terrible 2011? 5.) Will Latos & Cueto become one of the better 1-2 punches in the NL?
February 10, 201214 yr All he has to do to accomplish that is learn how to bunt. I heard a story from a guy who played for the Senators when Ted Williams was manager and I always thought should be applied to Stubbs. The Senators had this SS (forget his name) that was incredible with the glove and terrible with the bat. When they reported to ST and had their first workout, Williams told the kid along the lines of "If I see you with your glove one time this spring your going home. You better not put down the bat." The guys speed is incredible. Like Blue Magic said, just get it in fair territory and he'll be fine. It would be the only thing he would do this spring if I were in charge.
