Makers Mark Ambassador

Just got an email that my barrel will be ready this spring!! :dancingpa

 

 

Who else on BGP is a Makers Mark Ambassador? Has anyone attended any of the Ambassador events or gone to get a bottle from the batch their barrel came up in?

Never been to any events but love the Christmas gifts they send. Did you get your bottle sweater?

Oh yeah! I should probably have put it away with the Christmas decorations, but it was just too cool. I think it might be my favorite Ambassador's gift to date. (Although the glass tumbler with the wax on the bottom, and the "wax" coasters were pretty awesome too.)

My daughter and Son-in-law took the sweater to a tacky sweater party and put on the bottle. It was the hit of the party.

Mine's on a bottle sitting proudly on my bar.

 

I really liked the wax enevlope seal a few years ago and the year they sent wrapping paper you'd better believe I used it.

My husband and I are both ambassadors so we get double the Christmas gifts. I really like the ice molds last year and the sweater this year was awesome! My barrel isn't ready yet but you better believe I'll be getting a bottle when it is!

My favorite drink - Maker's and ginger ale with a twist of lime. Man, that sounds so good right now!!!

When I joined give or take 7 years ago, you could join by nomination only (not like that was really a huge deal anyway). Each ambassador was given 4 nomination cards when they became an ambassador.

I am one also and don't drink it either. Now on the sweater I really feel dumb...thought it was a sweater for a small dog.....LOL Loved the wrapping paper and the small glasses.
