Gumballhead is by far my favorite but it's almost impossible to get. You won't find any around here. You should check out this website, hoperatives.com. They have a weekly feature about draft beers on tap at local stores. I usually get my growlers filled at Party Town in Florence. For a while they had Dreadnaught and Pride and Joy on tap and both are very good. You won't find any bottles, just the draft. Pride and Joy is usually $6.99 for a liter, which is well worth it.
January 28, 201214 yr IMO, there are a couple brews from Stone missing on this list. I've had all that Bells and Founders can offer. And I've loved them all. Not a big Goose Island fan. 3 Floyds Dreadnaught is BOMB!!!

January 28, 201214 yr How long does beer in a growler stay fresh? I ask because when I buy beer my eyes are usually bigger than what I can handle, which ordinarily means a decently stocked refrigerator, but could be wasted beer if I fill up multiple growlers.
January 28, 201214 yr My growlers never last long. Once you open them they don't last long so prepare to drink a six pack. I've read that if you keep them upside down they may last longer due to the gasses not being able to escape.

January 30, 201214 yr Anyone tried the new Bud Light "Platinum"? I haven't purchased any Bud or Miller products in a while but this one at least has some flavor to it, I can taste a fruity profile, sort of like pineapple.
January 30, 201214 yr My fave is still KY Bourbon Barrel Ale. You should try some of the other bourbon beers if you haven't already.
