February 19, 201214 yr The folks at Keystone in Covington said they thought they were the only bar/restaurant in NKY to offer it. I get all of my home brewing supplies from Listermann's in Cinci. Got my barleywine there.
February 19, 201214 yr I had the barleywine and it was good, it's actually not Mount Carmel's but a collaberative with Listermann's, Rock Bottom, Red Ear and Rivertown. Had the blond on tap and it was very good also, you could really taste the lemon. They also have a tasty Harvest Ale. I knòw the Boston Beer Company has been expanding their brand. Not only do they have the Alpine Spring and now a Whitewater IPA which is pretty good. Didn't realize it was a collaboration. Good to know. Thanks.

Granted, I don't remember the names of any of them, as I've not lived there since '01. There was that really good sandwich/deli spot on the right-hand side that had the great soups.

The have a Beerfest that weekent and it was a blast this year. Tickets were $20 but you get 12 or so tickets for beer for the price and they have all types of good stuff. Plus most were dressed in their Holloween outfits and I can't say looking at French maids and Lil' Bo Peep made the night even grander.

Not a bad little bar - although sometimes the crowd is a little more yuppie than suits my preference.
