January 16, 201214 yr Perhaps this doesn't fit into the category you were looking for, Former, but here goes... Almost a year ago, I had a chance to meet a fellow BGPer in person. We had PM'd a few times & were going to be attending the same basketball game. At halftime of the game, I approached him & greeted him with a handshake, introducing myself as "Randy Parker." We then chit-chatted for about ten minutes, talking basketball, our backgrounds, our families, etc. As the conversation was winding down, he gave me a quizzical look and asked, "So...is your real name Randy Parker?" I didn't know whether to laugh hysterically that he hadn't caught on, or cry that his life has thus far been denied the greatness that is A Christmas Story.

Disappointed that a petition has not been circulated, demanding Clyde change his name to Clizzy. Disappointed that I don't know why Habib chose the name Habib.
