The irony isn't specifically in your comments. The irony is that voters stick rigidly to one belief in their vote and will not compromise. Then they don't like it when we have a Congress that does nothing because they behave the same way - sticking rigidly to a principal/belief without the least bit of compromise.

Or maybe, just maybe they have more of a clue then you give them credit for and they realize that doing that gives us 4 more years of Obama's policies. With Obama being a lame duck and not having to worry about paying lip service to governing from the middle a second term really gives him a chance to do irreparable damage to this country.

I've heard Gary Johnson will seek the Libertarian option. I like Johnson quite a bit.

 

I haven't found anything to like. I see no libertarian ideals that appeal to me and the Mormon thing leaves me very uneasy.

These politicians spend hours on the road and are virtually brain dead half the time, slips of the tongue or erroneous remarks often happen. Are there any black people in Iowa? Anyway, he will not live it down. Obama has made "racist" remarks which does not justify what Santorum said, just pointing out they all make stupid statements on the campaign trail.

With Santorum, it's comments like that which I do perceive to be racist coupled with many anti-homosexual remarks that at the least, leads me to believe his is a bigot.

 

Either way, from the brief knowlege of his stance on the issues, I do not believe we see eye-to-eye on anything.

Yeah, Obama made a dumb statement there. I do think he is guilty of stereotyping for sure. I don't get the racist vibe from Obama like I do from Santorum. It's one thing to generalize all whites as racist which is bad. Maybe for me being black and never having been on welfare and hearing "I don't want to make black people's lives better by giving them other people's money." is showing me he is probably a 7.5 on the racist scale. Especially after seeing that 9% of the people in Iowa on welfare are black. He has a belief most black people are on welfare and that is fundamental racism at play. By a presidential hopeful.
