Is Eric Bledsoe hurt or just not getting any run?

 

Just not getting any minutes I think. I believe he was cleared to play. I wish the Clippers would trade Mo Williams to the Lakers.

Is Eric Bledsoe hurt or just not getting any run?

 

All I found was that he had surgery for torn meniscus on October 7th and was out 6-8 weeks from then. I guess he hasn't been cleared.

Just not getting any minutes. I wish the Clippers would trade Mo Williams to the Lakers.

 

I think I'd rather have Bledsoe but we know they won't give up Bledsoe.

Some observations from the first slew of games:

 

-The Heat are good. Very good. They can be beaten, but it's going to take a huge effort. LeBron not settling for jumpers is making them darn near unbeatable.

 

-The Cavs are no where near as bad as I was expecting. Irving looks pretty solid IMO.

 

-The Wizards, Pistons, Jazz, and Suns are the early favorites for the Anthony Davis sweepstakes.

 

-Kevin Durant will win the MVP award this season.

 

-The Hornets will be much better than advertised. Same with the Pacers.

 

-(Non-Heat) Most Impressive: Atlanta, Golden State, Denver, San Antonio

 

-Clippers will need to learn they can't just outscore everyone. They need to find a defensive identity.

 

-My Big Bold Prediction: The Boston Celtics will miss the postseason.

 

-My Finals Prediction: Miami vs. Oklahoma City (Heat in 7) :puke:

 

The Cavs will be a little better but not a whole lot better.

I think the Pacers will make the playoffs and Atlanta too but the Hawks have some bad contracts and not much bench.

Utah will be bad but they are setting up nicely over the next couple of years with their youth and coming picks.

The Suns will be dreadful as well.

Not sure if Bledsoe has recovered from the surgery he had.

I think I'd rather have Bledsoe but we know they won't give up Bledsoe.

 

I agree but Mo is better than Fish. Fish can't even hit a jumper at this point. I can't believe they allow him to keep playing when he has been killing them for the last 4 years.

Just saw LBJ's stats. He's shooting almost 60% from the floor and 87% from the FT line and is shooting 12 FT's a game.

The only thing I saw said on the 9th they expected him to be practicing then so who knows.

Clips team page on Yahoo! says Bledsoe "is expected to be ready on or around Feb. 1st."

Wow....that blows me away.

Wow someone must have had a bad day. I know me and you have went back and forth on things before, however I didn't mean anything by this. Just that if you don't like him just because of that, then why not be mad at the team for being the ones stupid enough to give a guy who was just on tv a shot. He did nothing wrong, he just was very lucky. If he got the job then great, if not he already had a good career anyways. It was a Win-Win situation for him, and I bet anyone of us would love to get a job without having to work our ways up the latter haha. I mean I even agreed he probably would have been better off being assistant first, because he probably would be a better coach for it. He was lucky though, so good for him. I know for me I really don't care anyway. Don't like him but don't hate him either, if anything jealous that he got lucky like that.

But that makes me not like him. Why did he feel so entitled that he would even try for an NBA job? Its not like he was Michcael Jordan or Peyton Manning. People think the league didn't change after the lockout, but the average NBA fan didn't either (no one on here that I know of). WHo would support the Mark Jackson of the real world? If any of us had worked for years to get a promotion, been part ofsuper productive things for our company, school, branch etc. and then got passed over for a kid that just got out of college with straight As we'd be furious. The NBA is suppose to be the best league in the world, but a horrible NBA analyst earned the right to be a coach? I don't care if he's good or not, he did nothing to earn his job but plead for one of TV while other guys worked hard. Kareem was even an NBA assistant but Mark Jackson is too good to be one?

I do think someone like Peyton Manning could go from tv to head coach right away in the NFL and I don't think people would be outraged. Point guards are capable of the same. The good ones are coaches on the floor. Doesn't guarantee success obviously. Just saying I can understand the allure in some situations.

 

 

Did Isaiah Thomas and Kevin McHale serve as assistants first? Larry Bird?

We're talking about HOFers. Mark Jackson is not. Isaiah was an awful coach and worse front office guy. McHale was not successful long-term. Larry Bird did not coach for very long but did get to a finals with a very goood team. Not great examples for Jackson to follow but all three were way more deserving than MJ. What is Monta Ellis going to say when Jack says "Hand down man down?"
