So his postgame criticism of Bryant's 9-for-31 shooting performance was off-base?

 

 

"I thought Kobe, as well as three other guys, I said to all of those guys in the film session: 'I was wrong, your shot selection was fine,'" Brown said.

 

Bryant wasn't necessarily ready to accept the apology.

 

When asked about surpassing 29,000 points in his career with 34 points Friday night against the Timberwolves, Bryant sarcastically said, "Lot of great shot selection."

 

When told Brown had walked back his earlier criticism of his shot selection against the Wizards, Bryant smiled and said, "Everybody makes mistakes."

 

Mike Brown will be fired at the end of the year baring a miracle playoff run. Mark it down.

If Brown is going to take shots at Kobe to the Media like Phil would he needs to grow a pair and back them up not crawl into the corner the next day when Kobe is mad.

Didn't realize the Lebron haters said anything recently. I was glad to see him assert himself when needed at the end of the game. Is that so much to ask?

NBA goes off my radar for a few weeks this time of the year so I didn't have any idea it happened or I would have talked about it.

I saw the highlights and followed the dialogue on twitter. It was refreshing to see. I want to see Lebron succeed. I think he will in time. I'll still criticize him the same way I do Kobe when he is shooting too much.

Certainly not a Lebron hater, and to be honest not much of a NBA fan, but was that really a big game? Isn't that what he's accused of. Being afraid to take the big shot in a big game?

Kind of. He's has passed up shots in regular season games as well. Any time he doesn't close the way we expect him to be gets hammered. Some I agree with and some I don't.

Has any player ever fallen as fast as Lamar Odom because of a trade? I can't recall seeing a player that badly affected by a trade before.
