Travis Wood for Sean Marshall?

I disagree. I'd think the pen would be Bailey, Ondrusek, Bray, Arrendondo, Masset, Fisher, and LeCure.

You know injuries are going to happen. They need to keep Wood.

Then you plug Bailey in the rotation. He's better than Wood. Wood's ceiling is #5 starter in the bigs IMO.

I disagree.

Bailey is schizophrenic. No chance I count on him for an entire season in the rotation.

Marshall is one of the best lefties (relievers) in the game. Wood sucks, Reds will use him to get pieces back if they're not in contention. Good move for both teams. Cubs won't bein contention this year. Get some players for him.Reds have a shot at the Central, and if they bomb, trade him to a contender.

^They aren't.
Not without an escape from Bailey clause. I'll tell you what, if Bailey makes it the whole season in the rotation, I'll sport an avatar for the post season that says UKMF is a genius!.

Wood is 24, and far from sucks.

Spindoc, the Reds aren't planning on Bailey to be in the rotation. Not sure why you keep acting like I'm saying he's going to be.

The rotation is going to be Cueto, Latos, Arroyo, Chapman, & Leake. Only way Homer is in the rotation is an injury to one of those 5.

2 demotions and an ERA near 5, isn't what I'd call "good".

I misunderstood then, thought you were saying he was. I wish we could deal Bailey, frankly.

I agree, I'd like to deal Homer as I feel he'd bring back a better return than Wood, although I really like Marshall.

^Rocket, you forgot a WHIP of nearly 1.5...

But he doesn't suck. Red fans are over valuing Wood.

He's 24. I'm not saying he's going to be a stud pitcher, but you don't trade a 24 year old lefty that has potential for a 30 year reliever for 1 year.
