You said other religions have more rights than Christianity. I'm looking for examples to support your belief.

When was the last time a school got in trouble for having an Islamic prayer?

Good question. Do you know of any schools that have one? You also mentioned Belfry. I don't think that there was any trouble over their sign, but if there was, do you know of another football team that had a sign promoting another religion and did not get in trouble for it?

I think that Clyde's point is that to say that Christians have less rights than another religion means that there should be evidence of one religion being allowed to do something that Christians are not allowed to do. All the examples that have been given here (and in numerous other threads) are only about something that someone is mad about that Christians are not allowed to do (public prayer over a loud speaker at a public football game is a good example), but there is no other side of the coin (no school doing a prayer in another religion being allowed to do so.) As such, there is no discrimination against one religion over another.

I've never heard of a school having an Islamic prayer. I've heard of kids reciting an Islamic prayer. Hardly the same.

Do you have examples of schools saying an Islamic prayer at sporting events? Saying it over the school intercom each morning?

But some public DO allow Islamic prayer and provide them with a special room and time to pray.. Some schools are putting in foot baths(at public expense) for Muslim kids..

Call me when they stop a Christian from privately praying.

Think Big Brother knows about this thread yet? Tread carefully haha!

Call me when they stop a Christian from privately praying.
Call me when they stop spending public money on religion and make the Muslims pray in private......

Why should Christians have to pray privately, some Christians are proud of what they are and may want to publically show their faith as witnesses to others. How can you witness to others when hiding.

Call me when a student gets in trouble for praying. Cats belief is incorrect. No religion gets more freedom than any other.

You till haven't answered my question, which version of Christianity should the government mandate and make it the version we teach in schools and such?

You showed nothing. Do Christians require anything to pray? No. So what exactly is the govt doing that gets in the way of a Christian student praying? Nothing.

^No, you showed them being given the same freedom to pray as a Christian student.
