Just saw on the ESPN Bottomline that Shane Battier will sign with the Heat.

 

I saw yesterday that Jason Kapono will sign with the Lakers.

 

 

I also saw that NBA players will not be tested in the offseason for recreational drugs after the new CBA is signed. :lol::lol::lol:

Battier to the Heat is a great move.

 

Kapono is OK but I doubt he helps all that much.

Lakers have to use the AC on someone. They have some bad contracts sitting around. Artest would be a nice candidate for that. 3 years 21 Mil left.

Not sure how much of an upgrade if any he would be compared to Z and Dampier. Looking like it may be a long season down low for the Heat again this season as well. They really wanted to make a run at Oden and more importantly Tyson Chandler but knew unless Chandler turned down a lot of money they would have no chance considering all they could use is the MLE.

Battier is an excellent addition for the Heat.

I'm with you on it being a very good signing for them. A very solid role player, which is exactly what that team needs.
