I would find that hard to believe

Antonio Owens will be playing in the Mid-South Conference this coming season. I assume it's been a long and winding path for him.

What is the back story on this? Just glancing through the thread and I am assuming OJ is OJ Mayo. He's a pro. Why is Owens just now playing college and who is he playing for? What happened?

I'm not sure. I know I remember watching Owens like 8 years ago or something. I know at one point he was in JUCO. I never imagined he'd still have eligibility left. I'll say this, he was really good on the court.

I'm going to talk to Coach Burton today to get a little more information on Owens. He will be playing at St. Catharine College this season.

 

From my own research, it appears he started out at Los Angeles County JUCO, then transferred to Southern Idaho (JUCO). He was dismissed from the Southern Idaho team in January of 2010 for unknown reasons. I'm not sure where he has been from 2010-Now.
