December 7, 201114 yr Have to disagree with the pizza recomendations. All are good, but Lou Malnatti's is the best. http://www.loumalnatis.com . My issue with Lou Malnatti's is the huge chunks of tomato on their pizza. Turnoff.

December 7, 201114 yr Go to the club at the top of the Hancock building. When I went there, I had my fav mixed drink, listened to the jazz band while looking down on the city lights. Very cool. I second this recommendation. Very cool experience.

I'd had a couple of different 3 Floyds beers and liked them, but I wasn't sure whether or not they were 100% "Chicago". Munster, Indiana is close enough for me. Haven't had any of the others, but the article popped up in Google when I was looking for the 3 Floyds info.

She recommends: Buddy Guy's Legends Alhambra Place — Mediterranean cuisine Twin Anchors — she calls it "kind of a dive, but the food is amazing" and ribs is one of their specialties She said there are several other good places in the vicinity, so you can't go wrong just dropping in somewhere.

Thank you. The ribs and blues joints sound great. With this group I already know Mediterranean cuisine is going to be a tough sell.
December 8, 201114 yr She also mentioned a steakhouse that's good that's not necessarily in the neighborhood, "but worth the wait and the cab ride," called Tango Sur. She said its a byob place, though, and they don't take reservations for parties of less than six.
December 8, 201114 yr I enjoyed the Goose island Brewery out in Wrigleyville. Had a great time there. I also enjoyed Lou Malnati's pizza. The butter crust is excellent.
