Good to hear J Swan played well.

I think Steiner got the boys attention after last weeks loss to Gallatin!

I guess my prediction was pretty close. I said 72-59 SK. I knew they would come back strong after the disappointing loss to GC.

 

Conner is still young and inexperienced.

Conner turned the ball over 25 times, Swanson with six steals. Chambers was very efficient tonight, Sampson also with 15 for the Neers. According to the broadcast both teams shot 62% from the field which you don't see often in a game this lopsided.

Looks like the Cougars are picking up where they left off last year.

SK got a ton of players in the book.

Conner needs to figure out how to handle perimeter pressure. The game I saw against Dixie showed that they struggle with their handle. I'm curious to hear how many turnovers they had for the game. Close to 15 to 20 by half?

Easy win, start to finish. To Conner's credit they never quit but the turnovers killed them. At Grant Co. on Friday.

W/L wise yes. This team is not nearly as talented as last year's team.

 

However, they bust their hump the entire game and do not point fingers and whine.

They finished with 25 and they played much better in the second half but SK didn't pressure as much and were tagged with a few fouls when they did pressure. From what I saw the Cougars really lack good ball handlers, they really struggled initiating any type of offense in the first half.

Conners offense looks stand-still. The rare times they got the ball up the court, they dribbled to the 3 point line and froze. No real set up offense or poor plays. Reminded me too much of last year. Poor passing. Embarrassing night after two hard fought games for the Cougars.
