When do I start...

...referring to the girls that I know as women?

...going out for "drinks" rather than out drinking?

...to think that it looks better to tuck in my t-shirt?

...calling my friends parents by their first name?

...To hate Adam Sandler(that one is for fun, because I'm horrified at the previews for his new movie)

Anyways I was just thinking. There are plenty more things that I'm clueless about, those are just the big ones.

Well I'm 30 and I still don't do any of that except hating Adam Sandler

...referring to the girls that I know as women? - A girl wants to be called a woman until she actually becomes one, then she wants so be referred to as a girl or a young lady, regardless of age.

...going out for "drinks" rather than out drinking? - You don't go out for drinks, you go out for cocktails.

...to think that it looks better to tuck in my t-shirt? - At what point did tucking a t-shirt in ever look better?

...calling my friends parents by their first name? - I called my in-laws Mr. and Mrs. until the day they died and do the same with most of my friends' parents. Always respect your elders, Pup. :D

...To hate Adam Sandler(that one is for fun, because I'm horrified at the previews for his new movie) - By the time you get to my age, you hate everything.

If tucking in my t shirt ever becomes something I need to start doing at a certain age then I'm done aging. Only thing close to a t shirt I will ever tuck in is a polo and that's if I've got dress pants on.

I'm with Rocket. I'm 36 and none of the above.

There are three things I'm sure of in this thread, tucking in your t-shirt is never a good look, they should remain Mr. & Mrs. ______, and Adam Sandler movies have been awful going on a decade.

Not touching the woman question, I'll surely give you terrible advice. Only tuck in your T-shirt if you are in a situation where your shirt can catch on something and injure you (i.e. around power tools and such). If your parents friends give you the green light, that's when. However, it can't be, "Hello Greg, can I call you Greg?" It is hello Mr. So and So, and then he says, "Hell, son, my Dad is Mr. So&So, call me Greg. And quit hating on Adam Sandler. He gave you Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison. It's impossible for anyone to keep churning out classics.

As for drinking, DON'T PLAY DRINKING GAMES (unless some attractive young woman/girl asks you to be on her flip cup or beer pong team.) That's how you know you've matured, when you can just have a couple of beers and not feel the need to play some moronic card game or song thing to do it. (I'm talking to all you "Roxanne" and "Hells Bells" or whatever AC/DC song that is.)

Disagree about the second one...When your friends parents are inviting you out for parties and get togethers, they no longer are "your friends parents", just "your friends" and should be referred to as such.

Good point. But it takes multiple reminders before they go from Mr. & Mrs. _____ to Bob & Sue.

He may have made some good movies in the past, but as I said...he has been awful for going on a decade now.

My son is 24 and his friends have taken to shortening my last name but they still keep the "Mr" in front of it. I like that better than being so formal.

I can't believe people call their friend's parents by Mr. & Mrs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, but just seems weird and awkward to me. I think all of my friend's parents would have slapped me if I had done that growing up haha

And never to all of the above. Adam Sandler stopped being good about a decade ago like someone else said. Love me some Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison tho

Oddly I have always referred to my parents' friends by their first names, and most adults for that matter. I was an odd child.

I don't think I have ever called any of my friends parents by Mr./Mrs. so&so. It's always been first names.

As to tucking in your t-shirt...there are several guys (older) that go to the same gym as me and they tuck their t-shirts into their gym shorts. Talk about awful.
