Defensive battle. At the half BC had 6 first downs, LexCath only 4. Time of Possession favored BC in the first half almost 2 to 1. But score was 7-0 LC at half. Bolye tied the game with a long drive after stopping the opening LC drive in the second half. LexCath got to the 2 yard line on a long pass. But a penalty pushed them back and they settled for a field goal. A BC fumble and key 4th down stop by LC defined the rest of the game.

 

Congratulations to the Boyle County seniors for a not only a great season but a great 4 years. They have lots to be proud of.

I think that is a valid question. At the very least they could have measured. After seeing pics I don't think he made it but a measurement would have suited me fine.

Overall IMO the refs did and good job calling the game, and did not have a outcome on who won. It was decided on the field as it should be. I belive this crew came together for the first time last night and will meet again for a State Title game in 2 weeks. Congrats Lex Cath, I will be rooting for you next week!
