I don't think you fire him after two years. We have lost a lot of talent from last year and it takes time to rebuild that back up. It's not like we have high profile recruits flocking to Lexington like they do at Alabama and LSU. Honestly I don't know how long it would take for that to happen, if it does happen. I just dont think you fire Joker.

I think there could be a racial component to this decision. Not that race would even be a factor based upon how terrible Joker has been, but those outside the Commonwealth or SEC will only see, "Black coach, fired after 2 years at Kentucky. Bunch of racists." Especially with that being such a sensitive subject nationwide. I am not sure the University wants that type of stigma.

If you told UK fans a new coach would almost guarantee them 7-5 it would be a no-doubter. Bring him especially if it's fun football.

With Kent St, Samford, and WKU on the schedule you are saying 2-10. At least be serious.

Not an avid UK fan but I usually watch and root for them when I can. Something I just realized, they are starting a QB without one other offer from any other D-I school. Any other SEC schools with any QB's that didn't at least have an offer from someone else? I mean, the kid is from California, not North Dakota.

The game versus Tennessee is going to be important as to this conversation. If the Cats somehow beat Tennessee, I think Joker is safe for sure. If they play a good, tight game but lose, he's probably safe. If the lose ugly to Tennessee, there is going to be some thinkin'. Despite of the Vandy game, I do think the Cats have improved as the year moved on. The defense is not that bad IMO. The offense is so horrible though it makes the defense look worse than it truly is.
