A player to watch is Maniacci from Cooper. He could be a top 5 player by end of season.

Very surprised to see the Camels down at #12. They will surprise a lot of teams this year.

I think it's easy to assume that these preseason polls mean nothing in November. Just make good water cooler discussions. I see major shake ups in these rankings come March.

Looks like Justin will have to make a bigger impact this season on the area coaches to ingrain his name in their memories.

I'm a little miffed at Holy Cross being so high considering they shoot so horribly and didn't do much last season. Rankings are just something to talk about and really don't mean much. Several teams on the list will be playing for their own respective Region crowns so these rankings become even less important once tourney time starts.

I think this is a pretty solid list for both.

 

I might put Newcath ahead of Boone but other than that everything looks good.

Not a bad ranking for the teams. 24 coaches voted so I would think they have a pretty good feel of who will perform well this year. Truth will be told in a few more months. It's about time!

As for players rankings, hard to rank in order, lots of talent. Each player contributes a different way to each team.

They are not. NKAC stands for Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference of which there are three divisions. Walton-Verona is not a member of the NKAC.
