How many Round 1 upsets will we see this year? Will we see a 4 seed over a 1?

Playing at home may be all the edge they need, but I think Boyle County has a dangerous first round game against Knox Central.

That's a good list CoachB. The one on your list that would shock me the most if it happens would be Bracken Co. over Bellevue. The rest I could see happening and wouldn't be totally shocked by an upset. Boone Co.vs. Meade Co. should be a really good 1-4 match up.

Bracken has a nice QB that if Bellevue can't contain it could be a long night.

Bracken will not beat Bellevue.........Campbell County made your list????? They are perhaps the only one seed that is viewed by many as being weaker than the other playoff bound teams in the same district.

Manual should definitely win, and Male probably has at least a 60/40 chance of a victory.

I think we are looking at this as more of a better seed from one district losing to the lower seed in the other district. Like a 4 beating a 1 or a 3 beating a 2.

I would add Desales over Green County to that list. Desales is big, physical and disciplined. Sander is an excellent coach. That game would be like 2 street brawlers and I think it could go either way.

Not a big upset, but the GRC/Ryle game should be very interesting. GRC's defense needs to play all 4 quarters and Pokey Harris needs to have a game like he did against Harlan Co....if so I can see GRC getting the win.
