Top Sophomores in NKY

Sam Dressman who didn't play Freshmen Basketball last year for CovCath as he was moved up to the JV level. I think a lot of people don't realize Sam is just a 10th grader!

Good call TOG. How big is he now? He is as strong as an ox.

I'd say about 6'2 or 6'3.

Hatton is the "class" of this class. No one is close.

Jalen Avery?

Jalen Avery?

Nope! Not even close. Let us know when he reaches 1,000 points.

Regardless of your opinion, NKY has some great talent across the board in the 2014 class.

However, I find it interesting how some judge size (not just on here - everywhere). There are a couple of kids on here who aren't as tall as some say they are if they were standing on their tip toes. Everyone does it, I just find it funny.

I know I always gave myself 3/4 inch to say I was 6' tall. Nothing wrong with it, very funny though.

Two different players. Avery is a true PG. Hatton is a 2.

However, Hatton is the better player of the two. It's tough to find anyone with his skill set AND scorer's mentatlity in NKY, not just sophomores.

Size does matter. add in socks, shoes and most sizes are pretty close.

The City of Alexandria will showcase a plethora of talent from the Class of 2014 over the next 3 years. Brossart has Trentman, Burns, Verst, Jennings and Campbell County has Holbrook, Franzen, Riley and Geiman to name a few. The Annual A-Town Showdown will make for great basketball games, as they always do.

Agreed. I am very interested to see the varsity contributions from the Camel Sophs this year.

I think as January unfolds there contributions will be greater than most of the upperclassmen.

Dillon Pulliam, Harrison Co., Wait until you see his improvement from last year... Leaps and bounds!!! Great kid as well!

No doubt he is a player. They will be a force in the 10th this year.

Putting Harrison in NKY may be a stretch though :D

The Cody kid plays at Ludlow and is the QB on the football team. Another kid Ludlow has

thats a Sophomore that no one is talking about and played a lot on the varsity as a Freshman is 6'4 or taller now. Haven't seen him in a couple of months, Jared Howard.

misspelled word and spacing

Cody Mitchell from Ludlow is very good. I would have him in my top 5 NKY Sophs.
