Are you saying that Graves County and Ohio County are comparable to Meade County and Ballard?

There isn't a whole lot of difference in them according to the Massy ratings.

I view and always have viewed the Meade County game as a good win for Warren Central. I don't think they really belong in this discussion. The Ballard game I feel is the biggest black mark against Warren Central on their entire schedule thus far.

 

When I look at Christian County I see a team that has similar highs than WC (with strong wins over Henderson County, Madisonville, and Lone Oak compared to WC over Franklin-Simpson, Trousdale County, and Meade County), but more lows (the loss to Southwestern - for whatever reasons - struggles against Ohio County and Graves County compared to WC loss to Bowling Green and struggles against Ballard). I feel pretty good about Central's prospects in the next two weeks, but I'm certainly not going to begrudge someone that feels otherwise. But in comparing the close wins, I think it's clear that Christian County's were worse, regardless of the records.

Added Trousdale County to WC's strong wins

Not gonna disagree with anything you said DF. I was defending placing Christian ahead of WC the past 2 weeks in the region 1 poll. At this point, I think Warren Central is clearly ahead of Christian Co. Christian definetly has more "head-scratching" scores than WC.

What it really gets down too, block, is that youbthink WC is gonna blow out GC. Could happen but GC could hang with them for awhile. If GC can hang with CC then they could possible hang with WC.

Ballard was never 1-7 ... they are currently 4-6 and just beat a district co-champion.

 

That's what happens when you look at records and don't take into account the schedule that record was compiled against. I dare say that Ohio County and Graves County would struggle to have a record as good as 4-6 against Ballard's schedule.

By extension, those teams are relevant in the debate, espeically if you're talking about Meade County and Ballard.

If everything holds true to form, Graves County will lose a heartbreaker in an incredibly cruel fashion - maybe on a botched extra point or something similar. It seems like that's the way it has gone for them all season.

 

In all seriousness, I think this could be a very good ballgame. I believe Warren Central will likely pull away to win by a couple scores.

Graves is not a bad ball club. Will they win this game? Probably not. I still think they might make it interesting for a bit.

I expect Warren Central to win by at least two TDs.
