Hot air was no problem for me.........but making the smoke, now that was hard!!!!!!

Sidelinedoc has to be tired from keeping that thing inflated all night.

 

It's amazing how easy that is to do with all the sausage dogs around Ram Stadium. Just sayin'.

Maynard had a great game-plan, McGlone had the same game plan he has done for ever. Good man, but he should have parked the bus in 2006. The game has evolved and he has not. Turnovers were critical, Davidson will play somewhere in college,his high school career was good but should have been lights out good for this area. Congrats Rams

 

I would venture to suggest Coach McGlone has forgotten more than both you and I ever knew about football ‘shelper. Give the man some respect…that “same game plan he has done forever” put Russell on the map.

uhhh Painter, I gave him respect as a great coach and person,who ,Like Bobby Bowden at Florida St,has hung on too long,and the game has changed. It is time to park the bus, because clearly Russell needs new direction. Bowden had to have an ugly separation,granted that is for much higher stakes, but at the same time,would be nice to see him retire with dignity. Just putting down what most have been saying for a few years. Shooting freethrows granny style went out of style,so has Mcglone. Times change,the game evolves.

Unbelievable. A team loses a couple games in a season and everyone has something to say. Fans are so fickle it's ridiculous. McGlone should stay as long as he wants to. Maybe the players aren't as great this year, but still good. They lost to Lewis, Raceland, Ironton, and Ashland. All four are either decent or good teams.

Painter, the real sad thing is that some of the players ar hearing and reading all of these expert "keyboard coaches" and that imo is undermining their program as much or more than anything else out there.

A coach is the first and most easy to blame, always has and always will be that way. All coaches know that going in.

Most of the time when alot of fans team loses it immediately goes to 1.) "was the referee's,they cheated" or 2.) Dang coach lost it, it's his fault.

Most if not of the time the comment should be 1.) "our own player mistakes (t/o's, missed blocks,tackles,etc.) lost this game" or heaven forbid....2.) "We got our butts kicked by a better football team" ! Which imo was the case for Russell n this game.

Should Russell fans want to ride the excuse/blame train, so be it. I respect Russell, their fans and traditon, it is a great one that few can match but........You can spin it any way you want to make it taste better but here is the bottom line........The Russell kids played hard but the Red Devils were beaten by a better football team last Friday...[/.were dominated on the line, were out played and soundly beaten......End of Story!!

I think anyone that anyone can see who is controlling this renewed series......What was the excuse the previous three years?? I know that when Raceland loses a game, I don't like it and am upset but I and other Raceland fans on here give credit where it is due...the team that beat us, are not blaming our coaches, off the field problems, injured players or the referee's bad calls, etc,,.....we get whipped, we admit it, give kudos to the opposition and look foward to the next meeting. End of story.
