Ram fans, I just thought of something. Who would have ever thought that Raceland fans would be defending a Russell coach from their own fan/fans? :scared::lol:

 

Times sure are a changing, I am really enjoying this "county's lil' brother" role that GC and Russell has put on us. Seems to me that little brother has got fed up and has proved something to the self proclaimed big brother's not by talking, rather putting a "whoopin'" on them on a regular basis. I'm just sayin'. :thumb:!

Four out of five since the series renewal with Russell with now four in a row and counting over the Red Devils. Also,something like 6 of 7 from GC (not sure on that number). I think that has been a statement. No talk or explanation needed.

Yea, that is what I was thinking, what's the world coming to when Raceland fans are defending Russell.

And, it's not going to end for a while. I venture to say Raceland will beat Russell and Greenup for at least the next three years. Raceland has a great deal of quality returning players for the next two years and the 9th, 8th, and 7th grades are looking pretty good as well.

You just ramble on and on, we get it, you're upset with Ivan McGlone and the way he runs the Russell program. It's funny how Russell fans weren't complaining when Ivan brought home a state title and runner up in back to back years. The line that I put in bold font would lead me to believe you are a jaded parent or former player.

Guess I am the only one that rambles on.....ok whatever Fans were happy with Tubby Smith for awhile too, then it was time to go.....you see it happened to Bobby Bowden as well,except he had to be ran off,didn't know when to give it up. Woody Hayes...another...great coaches whose time had come. No wonder Raceland fans want him to stay, and would not like to see an overhaul from top to bottom. Those state championships were nice, maybe Raceland gets theirs in the 1-A division soon. Ivan is paid to do one thing...win and beat teams he should. The system needs fixed.

1.) That is right....what are we doing? If they have everyone all upset with their own program then they are tearing it down themselves. All the kids want to do is play football-- enter fans/parents and or disgruntled members of both and then the players doubt themselves, their teammates plus their coaches,all due to their own fans raising doubt with their "expert :rolleyes:" opinions on their coaches.

Seems like that a very few, maybe one "experts" have created thir own mess so I will say this and be done with it, I honestly feel sorry for Coach McGlone and his staff. Those men deserve much better. I also realize that it is not all Russell fans or parents, most are very supportive of all. Proof that it only takes a very few if even that to cause controversey.

You are right about the status of Raceland Football, anythng can happen but our Varsity is dominated by underclassmen, the J.V. is undefeated and I am not sure if the Jr. High has lost or not but I know tht they are talented as well. Heck, the JFL and the little lag football guys are probably loaded. :lol::thumb:
