Trent Richardson from Alabama...

Not to thread jack, but I think Emmitt Smith, was a very good back, consistant and semi over rated.

:thumb: Agreed. Emmitt was an overrated back as far as I'm concerned. Good, but no where near the status that he receives IMO.

Typically you are going to get 3-5 "prime" years out of a running back in the NFL. Smith gave the Cowboys about 10 years of solid production and broke the all time rushing record in the process, to go along with three rings. Why shouldn't he gain the accolade that he does? No one ever says he was more talented or more dynamic than Barry Sanders, no one ever says he had more moves than LT, no one ever says he was more powerful than Earl Campbell. No one ever puts him in a category he don't belong, Emmit may not have been as elusive, quick, powerful, speedy, etc. as some guys but he ran the ball just as effective as any and at the end of the day he was one of the best.

Listen to anyone talk about their top 5 RBs of all time and Smith is listed. That's just a gross overexaggeration of his talents IMO. Sanders, Payton, Campbell, OJ, Brown, and heck even LT were all better. Top 10 back? Absolutely, but no way was he a top 5 RB talent.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand....

^We need a thread.

UK there is a thread on Trent's ride. They tried to make it out like it was wrong, but again their Bama bashing didn't turn out the way they wanted it to. There was a thread back in the summer on Trent recieving impropper gifts and that one also failed.

:lol: You obviously didn't see the smiley AL, it was a joke. Relax.

Probably drives a ride as nice as Emmitt's too....:D

:lol::lol:

Emmitt is just an analyst. He can't afford a 2011 SUV with custom rims.

2007, UK I saw the joke symbol, thats why I was sharing the car misinformation thread with you. I'm really relaxed as I wait on The Vols this saturday at 7:15 on ESPN.

Purple 2007, I posted the actual ticket, we need to have the facts straight. But the rims are super nice. I'd love a pair on my SUV.

In my best Cris Carter voice, "C'mon man".

About which statement^^^^ if someone posts an error I'll help in any thread. Rims for my SUV? I'm relaxed waiting on the Vols? The game is on ESPN? Its time at 7:15? :idunno:

He doesn't remind me of Emmitt, but Trent Richardson is a beast. If I were an NFL team in need of a RB, Trent Richardson would be the guy I'd want.

That number 42 for Bama (Lacey) is awfully darn good, too. (I think I have the number and name right.)

Ed, he is a Sophomore and Fowler is behind him. Dee Hart a true Freshman hurt his knee and is redshirted and is already running.
