Show me ANY championship team

and great coach and I will show you the great players that were part of that team. Gotta have the horses to

get it done. I could give hundreds of examples. Great coaches have great players. Tell me one team that has won a championship that didn't have great talent and won solely because of a great coach with no talent. Just doesn't happen. Let Dale coach out at Grant County and see how he does.

Are you saying that SK "should" have 7-8 wins this season? I hope that's not what you meant. Great coaches have always had great players. Any coach is only as good as his talent on the field. Marksberry had some great players come through his system in Simpson and Lawrence. Everyone should know that these type of guys don't come along every year. Let Spritzky and Marksberry coach HHS and/or Trinity and you all would vote them as coach of the year. It is what it is.

Don't get me wrong, talent does help. But coaches win every year without top level talent. Out of the 12 teams that made the finals last year, there were only 18 kids that were on the All-State team. That is less than 2 per team. Coaches develop schemes, and that is what wins.

Until someone shows a team that won a championship with no talent then arguing RE is wrong is a waste of time.

 

Tom Spritzky has had solid to decent talent but never a team that you would call loaded. His best team was 2004 and they had a great season.

How did those kids become good football players?? Let me answer that for you. They were developed into good players.. Most were not born that way.. I think Dale might have a little to do with that..

No, I meant it just the way I typed it up. That each year both school's should have 7-8 wins during the season. They've got the number's and a decent enough talent pool that they should both be capable of that type of moderate success each year. Winning 2-3 games, and getting blown out by schools that are 5 classes below them should be viewed as unacceptable and a major let down.

No I know nothing..I know you can make someone faster,quicker, and stronger with hard work. I also know you can teach kids that aren't the most athletic to be technically sound at their positions..Your definately not a coach and if you are I feel bad for those kids you coach..:scared:
