The word he used for butts was a word filter violation.

I was at the game, Somerset did dominate the game, but Danville looked slugish and very unispired. I think the week off may have caused them to lose the momentum and ryhtum they had been playing with. I hope the Ads get the opporunity to redeem themselves come playoff time. In the past years Danville has been good at making redemption in the playoffs against Lex Cath in 98 and Frankfort around 06 or 07. I think Danville is definently a lot better than how they perfomed last night. On the other hand I thought Somerset looked very determined after 3 straight losses and wanted the win more than Danville. I don't understand how you can have that mindset with such a big district game.:confused:

2009 Jumpers came into the game undefeated having defeated Knox, Russell Co. and Pulaski. Danville was struggling (losses to Corbin and Mason Co) but this was the game they would get healthy in according to most on-line posters .....result Somerset 48-7

 

2010 Danville is BACK...Danville 3-0 (outscoring opponents 115-14) having shut out Rockcastle and Corbin will roll, Jumpers lost that big ol' line that pushed them around last year... result Somerset 38-13 (and it wasn't that close)

 

2011 Danville is rolling, just destroyed Corbin only loss is to Boyle. Somerset 3 straight losses, can't handle adversity of tougher schedule. Ads just too fast for the Jumpers....Result Somerset 23-6

 

2012 Everyone will be picking Danville again and hopefully the Jumpers will take care of business again.

Yea agree with you and I'm not saying that if the Ads would have run the the bone more they would have won the game.But I think they should run plays that work some of the time other than plays that never work...:thumb:

Too bad you weren't at the game. The wishbone did nothing for them. The pistol with #15 at qb was the only decent set they had.

I wasn't aware that Danville has lost to Somerset over the past few seasons. Prior to joining bgp this time a year ago, I was following mostly NKY football.

I'm not taking anything away from the Ads, they deserve all the respect in the world. I was just stating that for the last 3 years everyone expected Somerset to crumble against them and for the third time in a row the Jumpers did what mosy in the state were picking against.

 

BTW I hope they play again as well, that would mean they were probably playing for the region title...as it should be!!!
