Haircuts and I don't understand people who do.

Never been in a barber chair or paid for a haircut in my life. My mom cut my hair until I was a teenager, and I've been doing it myself ever since.

Depends on whether I'm buying it or J and T. I'll let my parents but me nicer things if they want.:D

J&T can't wait for you to graduate and get paid.

My husband cuts my hair...he does a good job and just the way I want it. I am a bargin hunter. Every Sunday I will get the ad for Meijers, write now the sale items I want/need then comp them at Wal-Mart. Meat, I will pay for and get at Sams or Krogers. I guess I will penny pinch on some things and others I won't.

I actually enjoy the barbershop I go to. We make jokes, listen to really good music, and it's an enjoyable hour that I'm in there. Though I'd say most barbershops aren't ran by guys with sleeves, a deep appreciation for Wanda Jackson, and soon to be a maker of "small batch" aftershave.

...I'd say so. Sounds like a pretty rare bird to me.

Adam has the letter from their corporate office telling him to take that down framed in the shop.

 They really sent him a letter like that?! How silly! I thought it was insanely clever....got tons of strange looks from people as I giggled going down Bardstown Road with Lucky that day.

Yea. Not too long after he put it up he received the letter which is why he took it down. Didn't want to cause any problems. I found it to be quite funny as well.

Haircuts....I go to the same barber everytime and have been through 2 different inflations with him. From 8.00 to 10.00 to 12.00. Even tip him 3 bucks each cut.

I learned that lesson the hard way. My regular barber was out for a few months, recently; so I had to find a replacement. Went to these guys down in Newport, who happened to be charging five bucks for haircuts -- although I didn't choose them for that reason. Moral of the story: I came home with a five dollar haircut...which looked like a five dollar haircut! :irked:

In the haircut department I feel you get what you pay up to a point.
