September 2, 201115 yr 21-0... Murray QB is 1-11 Very uncharacteristic of Brockman. Not sure if he was nervous or what, but he is normally accurate. Ended up completing 16 of his final 23 which is about his average. I said "Unless UL is just terrible on offense this year, they should easily put up more than 28 on Murray State." Well, UL is pretty terrible on offense. MSU's defense held the Cards to 0 points the last 2 1/2 quarters. They are improved defensively, but not that much. Second score UL only had to travel about 12 yards due to a turnover. I am feeling good about the Racers' season. UL is not very good. Good thing they are in the Big East.
September 2, 201115 yr Rockmom: I'm listening on radio now since I don't have ESPNU. You would have been sooo proud on 1st td... Kupper centered to Stein who passed to Radcliffe for his 1st td reception for the Cards and 1st td of the season!! I was thinking the same thing. It's not exactly Tinker to Evers to Chance, but it is a tribute to these Trinity alums who started off as walk-ons. Well done, men.
September 2, 201115 yr Not bad for what UL put on the field. Several Defensive starters didn't play last night due to injury. Scruggs only played a couple of snaps. So over all I was happy with the defensive effort. Offensively they started out fine. Then they went brain dead on assignments and penalties. To many Turnovers and penalties killed drives. Thought they proved they could move the ball. Disapoint Bridgewater didn't play more. Stein palyed well. He will get better as the season goes forward.

September 2, 201115 yr I posted on another thread that after watching both it wouldn't suprise me to see a UK/UL game still going on up in the middle of the night - in around the 50th OT and the score tied 0-0, ends in that tie due to everyone there including coaches,players and referees fell asleep. Both teams.....long season imo. When is Big Bliue Madness?
