August 3, 201115 yr Some guy named John Fay... From the Reds: 3B Scott Rolen today had arthroscopic surgery to remove bone spurs and fragments from the acromioclavicular joint in his left shoulder. The successful procedure was performed in Cincinnati Reds by medical director Dr. Timothy Kremchek, who expects a full recovery. Rolen is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

And we had to wait till this point in the season to get this done? He's been on the DL for a couple of weeks. It has been bothering him most of the season. This sounds like something that would happen down the street at PBS, not at GABP.
