July 3, 201115 yr I am supposed to be in the Ft Thomas parade this year and have a question. I know the parade starts at the Highlands HS, and ends just past Tower Park, but if you are in the parade how long does it take to get from start to finish? And what time is the actual parade over? As we need to hurry and attempt to get to the Ft Mitchell parade at 12:30. Thanks!
July 3, 201115 yr The parade is swamped with politicians and super soakers. Bring your wet suit !!!! LOL I think you should be fine, I cant imagine it taking that long. I usually watch it but have never walked in it. Starts at 10:30am so I would think you could be finished by 11:30 or so. I would position your car somewhere strategic for a quick get away, up near the Fort.

If they go all the way up to the Midway entrance, you'd be better off parking down that way. If they go in by the tower, then the armory would be okay. Altough, in the latter case, parking by the mess hall or near the ampitheater would be even better.

Mitchell on Dixie Highway and park in Kroger's lot. The parade ends down that way in the Beechwood HS parking lot.
