An added thought. I would think that exposing the woman's abortion would be the same as exposing that she had sex with you in the first place. It is tasteless and crass but not illegal. I remember a case a few years ago where a local radio host was sued by a former girlfriend (also a local media personality) because he told certain fact about her silicone enhancements and grooming habits on the air. She sued but was ruled against because the defendant hadn't said anything that was untrue.

As an aside, the woman endured the full physical cost of pregnancy and child birth, there should never be a law that would give the man legal power in making decisions in that situation.

I believe abortion is murder & should be treated as such by the legal system.

 

If the man in this instance was really a man about the situation & wanted help bring this baby into the world and father him or her to the best of his ability; and if the mother was adamant about an abortion, then he legally has no say in the matter. So I can understand his frustration.

What would your suggested sentence be?

I believe a woman who has an abortion should be charged with 1st degree murder & then go through the same legal process as any other person charged with the same crime.

I guess the question for me comes down to whether or not it's legal to publicly shame someone. I don't really know whether that's a question that can be answered without knowing all the laws of all the various municipalities in the US. It doesn't seem to be something covered constitutionally. I don't think there's any law against a private citizen divulging the medical information of another. I guess people could put up billboards shaming a sexual partner for giving them herpes or AIDS as well.

 

I think it certainly sets a terrible precedent. I think billboards are unsightly, myself. It'll be even worse if more people take this up as a way to air out their dirty laundry. Good God people! I don't want to know!

Just like I have trouble finding anything positive to say about a woman who opts for abortion simply because she can't be inconvenienced with a pregnancy. Don't want to be pregnant, don't have sex. Simple.

Or have all the sex you want but use the proper protection. I don't know of ne person that has been on birth control! Used condoms or both that ever got pregnant. I've heard There are statistics possibly saying that it can be done, but I know a lot of people and it's never happened

If you are the Mayor of your town and your ex-wife has an abortion against your wishes and you put up the billboard are you saying no one knows who you're talking about? If that was the only requirement you could not be guilty of libel if you said "My ex-wife has sex with monkeys and snorts cocaine with the local unnamed Baptist preacher."

I love how everyone assumes most men have no say in whether a woman has an abortion. The reality is that most men know, and you'd be surprised how many either support it or push for it in the first place.

If a person killed an elderly person that couldn't fend for themself at all without someone assisting them, feeding them, giving them oxygen etc what do you think their sentence should be? I'm not turning this on you Clyde just asking you the question before I give my thoughts on your question.
