It says something to the effect of "this would be me holding my 2 month old if my girlfriend didn't kill my baby." Ex-gf and her friends claim it was a miscarraige. Not speaking to this particular case because of the issue of abortion v miscarriage but to the bigger issue. Is it a)legal and b)acceptable to put up a billboard that doesn't name your ex-gf or ex-wife and tell the locals that she had an abortion? Go.

If you are the Mayor of your town and your ex-wife has an abortion against your wishes and you put up the billboard are you saying no one knows who you're talking about? If that was the only requirement you could not be guilty of libel if you said "My ex-wife has sex with monkeys and snorts cocaine with the local unnamed Baptist preacher."

June 7, 201115 yr If abortion is murder with no qualifiers...what is a miscarriage? What if the miscarriage is from abuse or neglect? What if the abuse or neglect was done knowingly - in a possible attempt for force a miscarriage? What if the abuse was accidental before the pregnancy was known? Such a binge drinking night that cause alcohol poisoning? Something to think about since miscarriages are basically natural abortions. But on to the question at hand. If he has no proof then he has no right to do this. And if she is being truthful she should sue him for slander. Also, the billboard company should look at whether it should accept personal attack ads - true or not.

And even if he were a loser, is that worth killing your child over?
June 7, 201115 yr Do privacy laws apply to private citizens? What I mean is we all know that medical providers by law have to maintain patient privacy but is there any legal reason that a "lay" person has to. FWIW I tend to be of the mind that if it was my child I would do whatever I legally could do to shame the mother.

I thought it had to do with the HIPPA stuff, so would probably not apply to everyday common folk, but I could be wrong.
