Was anyone announced? I know it has been really frustrating on his part. And I'm under the assumption that he is on the list at North Laurel, too, correct? You would think a school like South Laurel, probably one of the 15-20 best basketball schools in Kentucky, would have done a better job than this in their hiring process.

Should hear something tomorrow. Look for North Laurel to make a push for sizemore. If this happens I wouldntbe suprised if SL doesnt open the job back up!

I'm just an outsider but it looks like to me that South has made a complete mess of this entire situation. I have to agree with gchs_uk9 that you would expect more out of a school such as South Laurel. Honestly, with all the stuff I've read (heard) I would have a hard time believing that anyone would want to commit to a school system that has as much trouble with this entire process. Scary situation for any coach to be honest.... I, for one, wish Brad the best! I hope he gets the job he's always wanted and makes all the naysayers appreciate his coaching ability and his passion for the game!

I have heard that Brad Sizemore has accepted the job at South Laurel. It will be announced Monday. He told his team in Garrard Co on Friday.

 

I can tell you this, whoever told you this information is and was 100 percent wrong. I just got a phone call and Brad DID NOT accept the job and WILL NOT be announced as head coach at South Laurel High School.

From reading your post it seemed as if he stated to his team he was leaving to take South's job. And for the smiling face, I know a lot of people that was involved with the situation wasn't amused with your post.
