How much longer are the Reds going to allow Volquez to destroy the bullpen? How you can be a professional pitcher and consistently miss the strike zone like he does is pretty impressive.

He is, in a landslide, the most frustrating Reds pitcher I have ever watched pitch. To have so much talent, such great stuff, and to have the mental makeup of a Little League pitcher is just painful to watch.

You can thank Janish for making him throw 17 extra pitches that one inning.

Why did Dusty stay with Volquez as long as he did, and why Lecure in this position? I do not like Lecure in anything but long relief out of the bullpen. Dusty is going to have to define some roles soon for his bullpen.

Talk about damage control. Hopefully Reds get the bats out and get this game over with soon.
