Calif. Prep Coach caught on Video...cheating

Featured Replies

From the article:

The videotape was shot for a rival school that was scouting the game.

Was the rival actually filming? Isn't that a no-no?

In KY it is, not sure about California.

You have to wonder why they were filming the coaches instead of the game, too. :sssh:

This gives new meaning to doing "whatever it takes" to win. It is unfortunate how blatant this act was, almost Woody Hayes like.

You would think that any ref worth his salt would be able to catch that.

Think someone might consider digging a hole and burying one's head. Shameful!

I'm sure the video will be included in a few officiating training programs...

Thats just rediculous. On the other link it said he's been coaching there for 22 years.. The legacy that he had will and should be tarnished forever.

And the team went on to win the championship.

What a bonehead move to do something that will bring shame on something as special as winning a state championship in football.

I didn't see the coach move the stick. I saw the stick holder move it. Did I miss it?

So I take it chain crews don't have to be on the visitor's side in Cali?

They aren't at Beechwood, they have to be on the the opposite side of the field from the pressbox.
