Will Dusty shuffle the batting order around heading into Milwaukee?

Not many options but they have to get someone who can remotely protect Votto, especially without Rolen.

The best option is Phillips.

Heisey has to get a shot and I wonder if Dusty will sit Bruce and play Heisey against Naverson?

Do you move Bruce to leadoff and drop Stubbs?

Heisey start to get more of Gomes at bats?

Pretty much the offense is in a collective funk.

Jay Bruce has to get going. I hope he gets it figured out, don't know if he is pressing too much or not but iy would be great to get his bat back.

I figured Gomes, Rolen and the catchers wouldn't be as good this year as they were last year. I also figured Bruce and Stubbs would make up for that and Votto would be as good or a little better. Bruce is the key to have any success. Against Right Handed pitchers I would bat him 4th until Rolen is back. Votto will be getting a lot of free passes this year.

Good 5 innings for Volquez yesterday. Let's hope he can build on that.

That pitch Molina hit out was a ball too. Just tip your cap and move on.

Can anyone tell me who this is? :D

A prettier TLR.

EV says he shouldn't have shook off Hanigan on that one.

There were an awful lot of shakes yesterday. I was surprised to see that.

Lineup changes are in order that is for sure. I would guess BP goes back to the 4th spot and Cairo hits 2nd now that Rolen is out. Bruce and Gomes behind Votto just aren't going to cut it with the way they are hitting.

I say call up Sappelt, plug him into LF and the lead off position, and see what he can do.

Reds over the last two weeks.

.225/.305/.382

Not hitting. When they do it's not for power. Not getting on base a lot.
