April 6, 201115 yr Ahh there was some fun too it, some classes I always hated. But when you'd go about picking out your classes you have to have at least one or two you look at and think man that will be interesting. By the time studying for the first exam rolled around that excitement was long gone, but picking out classes was always fun and the beginning of the semester always had a class or two that sounded like it was going to be really interesting. I always loved looking through what classes I would sign up for the next semester. The descriptions for each class seem very entertaining. Then, as you said, once you arrive to class the beauty soon fades away.
April 6, 201115 yr Do you guys work as well as go to school? How in the heck do you have time to take 5 or 6 classes if you do? Two part time jobs, 40 hours a week. Someone has to pay bills around here. lol
April 6, 201115 yr That's doing college the hard way. I had several friends going through school that way and I was constantly in awe of them. It will be really satisfying for you when you're finished. Good luck man. It's pretty difficult and it makes it worse that it is taking so long. I only have myself to blame for not staying with it right out of High School.
April 6, 201115 yr My last year and a half I was working 30-40 hours a week and taking 16 hours....Really wasn't that hard. Worked Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and either Tuesday or Thursday morning. Went to class Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. You are a lot smarter than me.

You're going, that's all that matters. Gotta crawl before you walk and you figured that out unlike most people. Hang in there and it will pay off.

That's pretty good right there, I have a lot of admiration for people who work that much and maintain a full load of classes. All of my classes this semester are Monday-Friday with the longest gap in between just two hours, so its been hard to work. No one really wants to give you a job just to work a day or two on the weekend.

April 6, 201115 yr I have class Monday through Thursday and I work at Starbucks on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. My hours never interfere with my classes. It's a different story when you leave your house at 8:00 am and stay on campus until almost five every day and then still have to drive almost a full hour home. It would be almost impossible for me to work a job on the same days I have class. I have done it in the past though and believe me I have a lot of respect for everyone who works and goes to class.
April 6, 201115 yr I've always worked alot while going to school. My first two years I was working about 30 hours a week at KMart to go along with 15-18 hours per semester. The last few years I've had a work study for 10-12 hours along with subbing. It sucks, but what can you do?
