Remember there is another play-in game for another #16 slot. Effectively, Morehead would have to be viewed as better than 6 teams to secure a 15 seed. Not sure they were impressive enough at stages during the season to get that. That also means the chances continue to increase a #16, #15, etc. will win a game. Hope they can get to that #15 slot.

With Indiana St winning their conference tournament, that at least gives Morehead St a road win over one NCAA tournament team.

Morehead State defeated Indiana State, Kent State and College of Charleston. Indiana State and Kent State are already in the tournament. Charleston is in their conference semifinals and should win their tournament.

 

MSU's RPI is No. 77 today.
