It helps alot. The game this year would be under 14 points IMO.

I also think that Dale hasn't forgotten the fact that he took over play calling duties in the freshman championship game when these classes met ... and feels that he could do a better job overall. And it has probably been in the back of his mind somewhere since then.

 

I think one thing that all of us know ... is that Dale does not shy away from revenge opportunities ...

 

I wish things could have worked out ... but they didn't. I am sure Dale feels the same way.

Brennan ... I think he will get reps at WR and CB. In fact, he may be one of the guys who sees the most action on both sides of the ball.

 

Cruse will likely get some reps at end on both sides of the ball.

 

Staten ... Beechwood's offense hasn't used the fullback much the last couple of years so his offensive reps will likely be minimal.

 

Bradley ... I don't see him getting reps on offense.

 

In fact, there is so much line depth that there are going to almost no guys getting much time on both sides.

 

There are a lot of guys who will get plays on both sides of the ball but no one who will consistently be playing the majority of the plays on both sides.

 

Don't forget Darrick Brilz. With Wheat coming in to play center Brilz and Everett should rotate at TE. With a smaller number of recievers they may move Cruse to WR like they began to do at the end of last year.

I heard something the other day that Wheat isn't coming to all the lifting sessions. Could just be a rumor, not sure. QuickSlick, can you confirm or deny?

 

He may have been able to get away with that at Woodford but I doubt that would sit real well with Rash.

There will be a lot of competition for spots on the defensive side of the ball. The Colonels lose Ritter, Gregory, Connor and Cosby from the secondary. They lose Timmerman, Sizemore and Jones on the d-line, and Nienabor at LB.

 

They have Fangman and Reese in the secondary both of whom should be very good. Powell returns at MLB, and Williamson and Hemmer should be solid on the d-line.
