Drake and Devin Bruns will be registering some nasty hits. Quillen started at OLB as a soph so it will be nice to see his return.

Nussbaum over at Beechwood along with Gage Erdman will also be laying some wood.

The subject of the thread is "Top Players" isn't it? We are talking NKY football aren't we? Why wouldn't HHS be a major topic of discussion with that subject? The success of the program speaks for itself. I do not believe anyone here has suggested that there aren't "Top Players" from other programs...But it is only common sense that HHS would be mentioned in a thread such as this.

Bradley was on the papers all star team over Troy Timmerman.

 

Bradley is just a solid role player. The stars are the Nuss's, Vocke, Staten, Davis (will be), and probably the new guy based on what I'm hearing. I'm sure I'm missing some, but that's off the top of my head.

This kid should have a very good year. Is he only going to be a junior? He morphed into a very good player by the end of last year. If he continues to improve as I expect he will, then the Bearcats should look extremely good up front on the D-line next season.

CovCath has some good Linebackers returning in 44 DJ Powell and 49 Tanner Coyne-Chailland.

Could see Guess in there if he can get and stay healthy.

I'd say hes more than a role player if he was a allstar.

Dexter Smith and Brady Asher were 2 and 3 in tackles for LLoyd last year at LB, Asher had 2 interceptions as well. Jackson Wood and Dakota Kid will be very good at DB. If Dillon Smith stays healthy he will be a force!

I apologize for not knowing this, but I believe that Evan Morse from NewCath is back. I believe that he was the DE who had 4 sacks in the state championship game against O-Cath. He has the size and frame to get some looks from the EKUs of the world. Very good athlete at DE, especially in passing situations when he can jet out and get to the corner.

I think you mean Logan Martin, Evan Morse was out with an ACL/MCL tear but he will be back next year.

Ok. Then Evan was a DT and very, very good as well. I apologize. As long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks, he will be one of the best DL in NKY. He is a monster. Martin was a senior then, correct?

Will be a junior this season. Several others on the defense that also could have break though years.
